Who we are
Patchbay Studio B.V. designs and builds AI automations for small and mid-sized teams. We are based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and we are the controller for the personal data described here. Questions about this policy go to privacy@patchbay.studio.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and do the work.
Intake form. Your name, work email, company, team size, the unit you are interested in and your description of the workflow.
Email and calls. What you send us and the notes we take during the audit.
Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe in the Journal.
Site statistics. Anonymous page counts from our host, without advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To reply and book your audit, as steps you asked for before a contract.
To deliver and invoice the work, under our contract with you.
To send the newsletter, with your consent. You can unsubscribe in one click.
To see which pages are read, which is our legitimate interest in running the site.
Data inside your workflows
When we build an automation, its agents handle your business data, such as leads, tickets or invoices. We process that data on your behalf under a separate data processing agreement, and it stays in your own accounts and in the region you choose. We only use AI providers on business terms that exclude training on your data.
Who we share it with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the studio: our website host and our email, calendar and accounting tools. Each one is bound by a data processing agreement, and transfers outside the EU are covered by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries. If they don’t become a project, 12 months after our last contact.
Client records and invoices. 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Newsletter. Until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can object to how we use it. Write to privacy@patchbay.studio and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It saves one thing in your browser: whether you chose the light or the dark panel, so the switch remembers it on your next visit.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the version and date on this page. Big changes also go out in the newsletter.
